“The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all.” – Mulan
Spring wouldn’t be what it is without Floral! The floral print is a style that some people are tired of seeing but can’t get enough of. It’s like a love, hate relationship. The color and variety of floral print cause someone to frown upon or not even want to wear it. If it’s paired with the right colors and is not “too much” floral, then it’s the right fit!
Likewise being hesitant of including the stripe pattern in the print series, I also felt the same way with floral. Floral is a print that is used and seen constantly. Working in retail, I’ve seen floral print throughout the season even when it wasn’t trendy. Even the customers were complaining of so much floral! In the midst of the floral blues; I knew when I saw this pink blazer, I had to have it!
The detail in the blazer is so precise and vibrant! The blazer does have “fake” pockets. It also has one button if you want to wear it buttoned with cleavage showing or shirt details!
The floral blazer is from JustFab. I got it for $15 during the bomb Winter sale they had. It is also on sale now for $17. I ordered a 2X which is women’s size. I should have ordered the XXL which runs misses size. The blazer seems to be true to size. It’s sort of big around the arms, but it fits how I wanted it to! My fitted olive green tank comes from Old Navy in an XXL. My jeans (old) are from Torrid. They are size 18 jean Jeggings (similar) and can be worn high- waisted. My tan heels (old) are from Torrid (similar) as well in a size 9.
Putting together this outfit and finding the perfect Floral print was fun and difficult! Debating with myself to put the Floral print in the Power to the Print series was an everyday decision. Don’t be overwhelmed by the abundance of flowers, but be drawn all the versatile style you could style with it! Floral could not be left out a Spring fashion series that showcases the trendiest prints of the season.
