Following the snake print blog, I am excited to share with you Power to the Print: Stripes. The series will get better and better as I introduce prints that are trending this Spring! I am going to continue you sharing with you how much I loved putting together this series of Spring looks! Stripes will always be a pattern that will never grow old. No matter what color the stripes are, it’s a pattern that’s easy to style! Either it’s a striped dress, blouse or pants; stripes will always be a part of fashion and fun to style!
Stripe is that pattern that you will never get tired of and can be worn through every season! I debated on including stripes in the series because it’s a pattern, but the colors yelled SPRING! I had to include this look and pattern in the series! I’m so glad I included this pattern. Even though it’s a common pattern, it will always be easy to accessorize, wear different outfits and much more!
My dark denim jean jacket is a size 1x (14-16) from Torrid. It’s true to size and comfortable. It’s not the annoying denim that makes you take it off before you put it on. My white fitted tank is an adjustable tank from JCP it is a size 1X (juniors). My wide leg pants are a 1x from Forever 21 and have pockets, POCKETS ?! *if a product doesn’t have pockets, sis don’t get it!* The pants are woven material and are stretchy and I recommend going down a size in them. They are very comfortable, but long on me (I’m 5’2). The heels I paired with the style are Gianni Bini platform heels in a 9.5.
I couldn’t let these stripe wide leg pants get from me when I saw them! Especially the yellow and green paired together! So, if you see a striped dress, blouse, pants, or shirt that has Spring written all over it, get it, sis! When I styled the outfit, I didn’t even want to take it off because it made me feel so bright and Spring-ish! It vibed with the weather that day and my mood! If you have an outfit like that, then that’s your fit! I hope you guys enjoy this style and pattern as much as I did wearing it and styling it! Happy Styling!
Love, Gayla ?
