Make-up wipes vs. Micellar Water
I know might be late to the micellar water is better than makeup wipes. I decided to try the Garnier Fructis Micellar Water for oily skin cause yea, ya girl skin is oily. I just wanted to see what was all the hype about! People were raving about how micellar water is better and the makeup wipes are not even a thing. It especially caught my eye when I was scrolling through Tik Tok and a dermatologist was giving her recommendations on skincare. And there it was, my favorite Walmart Equate Sensitive Make-up wipes pushed over vs the Garnier Fructis Micellar Water being yes’d! So, I was definitely like ok, let me go try this here micellar water out and boy let me tell you what I think…
I decided to go into Ulta and grab a few things and why not try the Garnier Fructis Micellar Water since everybody is booing make-up wipes. Garnier Fructis has a variety of waters to choose from for different skin types such as oily, dry, and all skin types. To use this product you need some make-up remover pads. I purchased mine from Dollar Tree (don’t judge me), it was quick and already there didn’t feel like going from store to store to get just make-up remover pads.
So here goes, the Micellar Water in my opinion is a uh no. Ok, I had to use several mini remover pads. to get my full face-off of make-up off. I just felt things were just messy. I wanted to pull out a make-up wipe so badly, but I wanted to see out the process. I just wanted to know, what is the big difference between them? What’s so great about the micellar water? I’ll give it a chance again and see what it goes cause I’ve only used it once. But issa no for me until it gives a reason to even switch. It’s not an “OMG, I have a go buy more thing”. Until then, I’m a faithful supporter of make-up wipes (equate sensitive to be exact).
So yea, what do you use to take your makeup off with? Micellar water or make-up wipes? What do you like/ love for the product that you’re using?
Love, Gayla 💕
